The inception of Genevieve was not a mere fantasy; it began in 2017 in a quaint village in the western province of Norway. It was during this time that our first website was launched, coinciding with the arrival of our initial products in Norway. However, unforeseen circumstances hindered our progress, as the company's owner had to undergo a lengthy recovery from an operation.
Our name, Genevieve, was inspired by a captivating young woman we encountered in a Parisian metro station. She was in her twenties, en route to Paris, adorned in an orange legging paired with a white top. Genevieve exuded an unparalleled beauty, captivating not only the metro but also the world beyond.
After a ten-week hiatus, we returned to Oslo, brimming with ideas to import diverse items from various countries. Our journey commenced with the signing of a contract with a manufacturing company in Portugal. Later that year, we inked our second contract with a Singaporean company. From the very inception of our company, we have remained steadfast in our mission: to transform fashion into a beloved pastime, accessible to all individuals across the globe.
